Dame Judith Hill, Chair of AIIHPC, said: “The establishment of Voices4Care is an exciting development for AIIHPC.  We want to hear from patients receiving palliative care, from their carers, and from citizens interested in improving palliative care in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Although AIIHPC does not provide direct palliative care the Institute works with the providers of this care to improve the quality of services to people with an illness or condition which may limit or shorten their lives. We are committed to having the views of patients and their families at the heart of what we do.

Members of Voices4Care will share and discuss issues which will inform how best to care for people, and their views and experience will inform and influence our work.We focus on palliative care education, research, policy and practice and we want those receiving palliative care, their carers and people from the wider community to be involved in this work through Voices4Care.”
