Call for abstracts ‘100 years of Midwifery Regulation and Development of Midwifery in Ireland National Conference’

To mark the 100 years of Midwifery Regulation in Ireland, NMBI is hosting a national conference to celebrate the regulation and development of the midwifery profession.


The conference will take place on Thursday 22nd November 2018 in Thomas Prior Hall, Clayton Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.


Abstracts are invited for this conference from midwives in practice, education and academia under the following categories: antenatal care, intrapartum care, midwifery care in complex pregnancies, postnatal care, breast feeding, public health and family planning.

 

Confirmed keynote speakers:

Dr Sally Pairman, CEO of International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) and
Professor Cecily Begley, Chair of Midwifery, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin.
Submission guidelines and abstract template are attached: abstracts should be submitted as a Word document. Abstracts should be no more than 300 words.


Abstract submission deadline: Monday 2nd July 2018 (11pm GMT)
