Withdrawal of publication: Guidance to Nurses and Midwives with Regard to Strike Action

Guidance to Nurses and Midwives with Regard to Strike Action (An Bord Altranais, February 2006) has been withdrawn from the NMBI guidance publications, effective 27 November 2015.

The NMBI Board has issued the following statement in its place:

Nurses and midwives must refer to the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics for Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (2014), Scope of Nursing and Midwifery Practice Framework, (2015) and the Practice Standards for Midwives (May 2015) to inform their considerations and individual decision-making regarding industrial action.
