NMBI Vice President John Murray awarded Honorary Fellowship of the RCSI
NMBI Board member and Vice President, John Murray, has been made an Honorary Fellow of the RCSI (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland) Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to society, nursing and midwifery. 

The award was made on1 March at the opening ceremony of the 36th Annual International Nursing and Midwifery Research and Education Conference. It is the highest honour conferred by the Faculty. Honorary Fellowships of the Faculty were also awarded to Emily Logan, Chief Commissioner of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission and former ombudsman for children, and Niall Breslin in recognition of his contribution to mental health advocacy.
