Advanced Practice: important update
Submission of a site preparation document is no longer required as part of the health care provider’s application for advanced practice post accreditation. A Guide to Site Preparation will be published on the website in the coming weeks to assist health care providers to prepare their site(s) to support an advanced practice post. The Guide to Site Preparation will be available on the Advanced Practice page of our website.
Health care providers are seeking to rotate Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioners (RANPs) and Registered Advanced Midwife Practitioners (RAMPs) between accredited sites. NMBI supports the rotation of RANPs/RAMPs between accredited sites in the context of local clinical governance and will review this on receipt of a completed Advanced Practice Site Rotation Form.
