Invitation to be part of the review of Standards and Requirements for Advanced Practice

NMBI is leading on a project to review the Standards and Requirements for Advanced Practice. A team known as Working Group Advanced Practice (WGAP) has been established to assist NMBI. Expert representation was sought from a number of different key stakeholders and the WGAP was established from expertise from within and outside NMBI.

We will be holding a number of Focus groups throughout the country in September and we would appreciate if you would consider being part of a group. You can book through NMBI website:

FOCUS GROUPS

The National Standards Authority of Ireland is seeking comments on a draft standard on care services for cleft lip and palate

The National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) is seeking comments from nurses and midwives on a draft of the European standardization document (CEN Technical Report) on care services for cleft lip and/or palate.

Survey shows strong interest in plan to redevelop NMBI website

Registered nurses and midwives would like to see the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) providing more online content to assist them in their professional development.  This is one of the main conclusions to emerge from a survey conducted among users of the Board’s website, NursingBoard.ie.

The independent survey was conducted in June as a major input into the Board’s web strategy project. It generated a high response rate, with 2,714 users completing the survey, 70% of whom are registered nurses. Please click here for further info.
