More people than ever before paid online, using My Account.
Reminder letters have now issued to those who have not yet paid.
You can pay your fee with your credit or debit card by using one of the following two options:
- Online through My Account.
- Phone 1890 200 116 to make your payment by debit or credit card. This line is open from 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
ARF payments will not be taken after 17.30 hours, 14 March 2019.
If you have paid but have not received your new Annual Retention Certificate for 2019 within 7 working days of making your payment, please call 1890 200 116.
Voluntary removal of your name from the Register
If you wish to remove your name from the Register, please complete a Voluntary Removal Form. The deadline for submitting your Voluntary Removal Form is 14 March 2019.
Removal of your name from the Register by the Board
If you do not pay your fee in full on or before 14 March 2019, no further reminder letter will be issued to you. The Board will consider the removal of your name from the Register for failure to pay the Annual Retention Fee in accordance with Section 77(1) of the Nurses and Midwives Act 2011. Notification of the removal of your name will occur in accordance with the legislation.
Should you wish to restore your name following removal for non-payment you will be required to fill out the Restoration Form, pay a €250 Restoration Fee plus the €100 Annual Retention Fee and comply with any conditions at the point of restoration. It takes approximately 10-15 working days to process a Restoration request.
Please be reminded that once your name has been removed from the Register you are not entitled to practice as a nurse or midwife in Ireland. This includes clinical practice, nursing /midwifery management, education or research.
