We were pleased to brief members of the Oireachtas at Leinster House. The event took place on the first day of May to highlight the International Day of the Midwife and International Day of the Nurse which both take place in the month of May. Our Interim CEO Carolyn Donohoe was the key note speaker at the Erasmus+ funded AHEAD Project Multiplier Event hosted by Dublin City University today on digital health in education, where she also met with the AHEAD Irish research team. The Erasmus+ funded project: Assessment in Health care EducAtion goes Digital (AHEAD) aims at enhancing digital awareness in the field of healthcare education across four European countries (Ireland, Germany, Georgia and Poland).

We were delighted to interview Seamus Power for our e-zine. Seamus is best known known from RTĖ drama Fair City and recently changed careers to become a Psychiatric Nurse. He now works at the South East Community Healthcare Mental Health Services in Wexford.
